I have just bought a 2016 Kadjar and would like to update the R-Link and maps. Following the instructions online, I have inserted an empty USB stick into the car. Unfortunately, after a few seconds, a message says 'cannot write to USB' and something along the lines of 'USB is write-protected'.

I have checked that the USB is Fat 32 and has over 100Gb of free storage. It is not write protected. I have tried in both USB ports in the car but the same error message appears. Please can someone advise as to what I am doing wrong?
